Location: Töölönkatu 28, 6th floor

This collection consists of sheet music, books and back volumes of periodicals no longer in the lending library and donated collections.

The Finnish printed music in this collection is mainly vocal, piano, violin and cello music from the latter half of the 19th century to about the 1950s. The library has tried specifically to acquire rarities no longer in print and first editions, and scores signed by the composer.

     

Historical collection:

The historical collection consists of books and sheet music accumulated during the early history of Sibelius Academy.

Part of material has been digitized and can be found in Doria in PDF-form.
